For “admins keep standing access to servers and databases”

SWOT PAM

Privileged access management

  • Access is requested, approved and expires on its own
  • Credentials are injected by the proxy, never handed out
  • PAMGuard can freeze or end a risky session while it is live

Choosing between products

What is the difference between SWOT PAM and SWOT Cloud PAM?

SWOT PAM controls privileged sessions to servers and databases through a proxy. SWOT Cloud PAM governs access to the management plane of AWS, Azure and GCP: consoles, CLIs and APIs. Together they cover a hybrid estate.

Do SWOT PAM and SWOT DAM overlap?

They answer different questions. SWOT PAM decides who may reach a database and records what they do through its proxy. SWOT DAM reads each database’s own audit trail, so it sees activity from every account, applications included, and scores it for risk.

Are the products self-hosted?

Yes. SWOT PAM, SWOT Cloud PAM and SWOT DAM run in your own environment, on-premises, in your cloud account or hybrid, so credentials, recordings and audit data stay in your infrastructure.
